Prehnite is a mineral from the rodingite family. The most common are prehnites in a green-yellow range of colors, translucent, sometimes showing the effect of a cat's eye. Sometimes there are also black ingrades of other minerals.

It is called the stone of unconditional love. It is believed to have strong protective properties. It harmonizes particularly well with the heart and third eye chakra.
